Hopefully, it won't disgrace the original story by Wilde, which just so happens to be one of the more lovely and moving stories in the history of humanity. Adoro esta historia {yay for multitasking and writing my Spanish homework at the same time as doing this}

Anyways, it's my piece for summer composer's camp - yay for writing a new piece in four and a half weeks! For those who care, I aimed for minimal dissonance, intricate rhythmic and melodic patterns and weaving, vague atonality, but not TOO atonal, and generally tried to capture some sort of aestheticism in musical form in a way. It may or may not work out as planned, but it's sounding amazing so far, so I'm happy with it.
